Plus Model, Writer, Actress and Graphic Designer
T. Marlene began her Runway Modeling career in 2000 but the official start of her Commercial Modeling career did not begin until 2008! Between those years, T. Marlene went from a dress size of 26/28 to a 22 then eventually in 2009 getting to a more confident size 16. T believes in being curvy and confident no matter what size you are, however she felt it necessary for her to work off the weight she put on during stressful times in her life. Between 2008 - 2009, T leaped on the modeling scene, she was on over 5 magazine covers, featured on several websites and held a few titles.
Modeling is just a fraction of what T. Marlene does. She is also a contributing writer for Daily Venus Diva Magazine and Gemini Magazine. She is also the Charlotte Plus Size Culture Examiner for Examiner.com. Writing plays and poems is yet another facet of the writing diva. She will soon release her long awaited poetry books in 2010.
The acting bug caught on while performing in the plays and skits she and her fellow college classmates would put on traveling from school to school or church to church.
To add to the long list of things that T does is designing. She owns her own Graphic Design company Mae Lea Designs. She's been designing for over 20 years and has a degree in Graphic Designs.
T is originally from Baltimore, MD but resides in Charlotte, NC. She's an advocate for Breast Cancer awareness in tribute to her mother who is a 6 yr survivor and she, herself is also a survivor of domestic violence.
